0810-Study time finished. Verse for the day: "Then Jesus said to the centurion, 'Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.' And his servant was healed at that moment." (Mat 8:13). Time for breakfast then a decision about another hike.
Decided to go hike the Ryan Lake Trail.

Back At Trailhead - Heading To Boat
1245-Returned from a dinghy ride to the trail head and back. Total distance was 1.8 miles from the boat to the campsite. About 1.2 miles on the water and .6 miles on the hike, both one way. Return dinghy ride was 1.6 miles since I went into the cove where I previously anchored.
Heading For Beaver Cove - Pocket 2 Mounted To Left
I observed a very active family of beavers building a lodge in that cove and wanted to see if they were still around. The lodge was no where to be found, not a trace, and I observed no beaver activity. A mystery! (here is the link for that video:

Combined Hike And Dinghy Ride Back
Warming up my pizza leftovers for a snack along with a cold beer to hold me until dinner. I'm pretty tuckered! One tick on my body and about five on the hike that I picked off my clothes. 73F/79F.
Charging the backup solar battery with my primary solar battery and panel system. The backup charges my outboard.
1410-The pizza snack re-energized me some, but I'm still tired.
Washed dishes and cleaned up. Considering a nap.
1600-Took a long nap then got up and put the backup solar on the outboard to recharge. It was down 25% from my 2.8 mile jaunt.
Prepared chicken teriyaki to marinate for 45 minutes. Will enjoy a glass of wine and listen to music in the meantime.
1815-Had trouble with the grill, evidently it was running low on propane. Changed bottles but it still quit a couple of times. Not sure what the issue is.
Finally finished dinner, teriyaki chicken, potatoes, salad, rolls, and white wine.
Preparing to go look for moose or other critters this eve. Will search some back bays to the S.E.

2030-Returned from a 3.6 mile foray into some back bays SE of Fish Camp Point boat site. Caught a small northern pike in front of a beaver lodge and the family raised a fuss, until I removed myself from their turf! Got some video but no moose, bear, or wolves.
