0650-Cloudy, calm, 60F/56F.
0800-Still cloudy and calm. Some sun showing through. 67F/57F. Bible study time finished. Verse for today: "Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever." (1Ch 16:34)
0910-Finished prayers and worship music time. Running late so no book reading this morning. Will make breakfast.
I'm still feeling fatigued, mostly from lack of sleep. Got up in the night to take some Ibuprofen to ease the aching in my joints and muscles. Not sure if I'm still sore from my fall or simply getting old and the hard bunk gets some getting used to?
I kept tossing and turning in the night. My hips were especially hurting. After I popped some pills I slept better after that.
Before breakfast I decided to finish setting up the dinghy for fishing by topping up all four tubes and the floor.
Breakfast will hold while I try to check email and get messages out to the family for a zoom meeting tomorrow eve. Laptop failed to connect to Starlink internet. I tried numerous times and have no idea what the problem is.
The tablet connected but kept getting kickbacks due to a link in my text, some type of spam policy I suppose. Never had a problem on my home internet. I removed the link and the message went through okay.
1130-Finally had breakfast!
Afterward I went out to gather firewood and set up my new portable fire pit. I cut up firewood with the new electric chainsaw. It worked great!
1400-Did a walk through video of the site and am now enjoying a cold glass of wine. 69F/75F. Getting warm!
1600-Grilled burger sliders for dinner. Served with chips and a cold beer.
After I took the drone out to the point near the fire pit and made one flight. Returned to the boat and hooked up the chargers.
Put a shore kit together, grabbed my chair to go out and get ready for a fire.
1830-Started the fire and the new firepit worked very well. Perfect for this setting. Listened to my audiobook off and on. Lee Child's Jack Reacher novel "The Hard Way".
